Origin: Not much is known about the life of David Bundy other than he was a slave; pre Civil War era.  He was buried in a simple grave at a slave graveyard in Shreveport, LA.  He has chains around both his ankles and wrists as the way he was found when he was buried.  He has whip marks on his flesh which leads to believe more than likely he was punished for something and was whipped to death.    He was reanimated by the voodoo priest, Scratch to be his personal protector.  Scratch uses the chains on his body to keep him loyal.  The chains tear into the ground as he walks as if the earth itself is the ball to his chains.
